Swetha is a traditional Indian housewife, now living abroad with her husband and son. She is completely out-of-place in this new country but she endures nevertheless for the sake of Varun.

Her husband Anand works as a manager at a IT firm and is constantly immersed in his work, often travelling to other cities on business trips that lasts multiple days and sometimes over a week. Their love-life is nonexistent and over the years she had grown used to their separate lives under the same roof.
